Awareness of Breast Cancer

October is the month dedicated to breast cancer, so a large number of companies and individuals have joined together to fight in different ways and create awareness of this aggressive disease.

In recent years breast cancer has increased devastatingly and figures are truly alarming: one in eight women will develop breast cancer at some point in their lives. This disease has destroyed many lives and continues, even is the leading cause of death in women aged 25 to 55 years.

Breast cancer is usually diagnosed at advanced stage of disease, but if diagnosed early, curable in a high percentage. Thought likely to happen to you, so it is imperative to realize yourself monthly breast self-examination beginning at age 20, a week after the start of your period. You better than anyone else to discover any abnormalities in your breasts.
