Grenades to Prevent Breast Cancer
I was never very big fan of the pomegranate flavor, but doubt the benefits of the pomegranate is not only an act of stupidity, but ignorance. The properties of this fruit act specifically to counter the acidity and improve stomach problems, although other organs can also benefit from them (as is the case of kidneys, for example).
Its benefits are widely applied in folk medicine, and science has shown the various opportunities. Today’s is no exception, as an investigation has concluded that the pomegranate is a possible agent suitable for preventing breast cancer.
A group of researchers worked with the fruit in laboratory tests by applying it where it was observed closely in rodent activity on the prevention of the disease. The experiments showed that the fruit ellagic acid inhibited the formation of cancer cell growth, which concluded that products rich in this acid could prevent the disease.
Obviously, the study’s authors are aware that we are not facing a panacea, and warn that more experiments and tests on humans to test the effectiveness of the fruit. However, the hope is, and the grenade could be added to the list of fruits to prevent cancer.
