Foods to Prevent Cancer

One of the best ways to prevent cancer is through food intake. The lack of antioxidants, is one of the most common in people suffering from this terrible disease.

What food to eat to prevent cancer?
Vitamins, minerals and grains contain antioxidants that help prevent cancer, neutralizing it. Here is a list of 14 foods that will help us in this thread:

1. Vitamins
Prevents: cancer, mouth, bronchus, cervix, colon, esophagus, stomach, breast, ovary, skin, prostate and lung. Food : fruit, citrus, vegetables, green vegetables, legumes, nuts, bran and wheat germ, dairy , eggs, liver and fatty fish or blue.

2. Minerals
Prevents: cancer: colon, esophagus, stomach, liver, breast, prostate and lung. Food : citrus fruits, green vegetables, garlic, onions, legumes, nuts, whole grains, wheat germ, soybeans, fish, shellfish, poultry, lean meats, dairy, eggs and liver.

3. Lycopene
Prevents: cancer: lung, prostate, stomach, colon, rectum, mouth, skin, womb, breast, esophagus, pharynx and pancreas. Food : tomatoes (whole, sauce, juice), watermelon, grapefruit, apricot, guava and papaya . For your benefit you should consume daily.

4. Beta-carotene

Prevents: cancer of the lung, stomach, breast and uterus. Food : carrots, red peppers, broccoli, spinach, cabbage, melon, apricot, orange, peach, tangerine, beans, corn and egg yolk.

5. Sulforaphane

Prevents: cancer colon, breast, stomach. foods : broccoli, watercress, cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, radishes, turnips.

6. Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Prevents: cancer: breast, Prostate Cancer , colon and skin. Food : blue or fatty fish (tuna, salmon, sardines, eel, herring, mackerel, trout, halibut and cod).

7. Soy

8. Fiber
Prevents: cancer: colon and breast. Food : Almost all fruits and vegetables, whole grains, wheat bran, legumes (beans, peas, lentils, etc.)..

9. Green Tea

Recommendation: Boil for at least 5 minutes and take 3 to 6 cups of green tea.

10. Red wine

Prevents: Skin cancer, breast and thyroid.
Recommendation: Drink in moderation (one to two drinks per day).

11. Wild Fruits

Prevents: cancer: lung, skin, própstata , esophagus and liver.
Food: Blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries.

12. Garlic and Onions
Prevents: cancer: stomach. Food : Garlic, onions, scallions, chives and leeks.

13. Mushrooms
Prevents: cancer, reproductive organs in women.

14. Aspirin
Prevents: cancer: colon. Food : We recommend one tablet daily.
